Kevin has been a salsa dancer, instructor, and performer for over twenty years. He started taking classes several times a week with Julian Mejia in 1999, and within two years Julian hired him to be an instructor and choreographer for his professional Cuban-salsa performance group, Salsatlanta. Kevin taught and performed with Salsatlanta for nearly a decade, performing at salsa events in Atlanta, Miami, and Toronto, and in pre-show performances for Cuban salsa groups such as Los Van Van when they would come to Atlanta.

Kevin then went on to teach salsa and Latin Dance-Fitness classes at Caló Dance Studio until 2018, and, since that time, he has continued to bring the joy of dance to others by teaching private lessons and wedding choreographies, and by incorporating salsa music and dancing into his live music stage performances.
